Quality Control
Inspection points from the steel coil to the test report. Every unit is checked against the specification before it is released for packing.
Inspection points
- Incoming material. Steel, conductor, insulation and oil checked against the mill certificate.
- Core build. Stack height, clamping and insulation resistance to the frame.
- Winding. Turns count, conductor section and insulation build checked before assembly.
- Drying. Vacuum and temperature logged; moisture readings recorded before filling.
- Tank. Pressure test before filling, leak test after.
- Final. Routine tests to IEC 60076, then a visual and dimensional check before packing.
- Documentation. Serial number recorded against the test report and the drawings.

If something goes wrong
Tell us the serial number. We can trace the build record, the test report and the material certificates for that unit, and we will tell you what we find before you decide what to do. Warranty: two years.
