Our oil filled distribution transformers use high grade grain oriented silicon steel lamination, oxygen free copper or aluminium windings and a fully sealed corrugated steel tank. The sealed construction keeps the insulating oil isolated from ambient air, which slows insulation ageing and removes the need for periodic oil top-up.

- Hermetically Sealed Tank: Corrugated tank walls absorb oil volume change without a conservator, so the unit is maintenance free and protected against moisture ingress.
- Withstands Extreme Environments: Rated for continuous outdoor operation from -40 °C to +40 °C with anti-corrosion painting and sealed bushings for humid, coastal and dusty sites.
- Short Circuit Strength: Windings are braced and the core is clamped to withstand the mechanical forces of through-fault conditions without deformation.
